As the host of 90.1FM’s The Poetry Café his voice is heard weekly over the airwaves as he showcases talented artists from all over the world in the genres of Poetry, Hip-Hop, and R&B.  The Poetry Café feeds your mind, your body and your soul every Tuesday from 6-7pm(EST) on 90.1FM.

Celebrating the art of poetry while connecting to community, The Poetry Café also doubles as a monthly open mic every second Saturday in Greensboro, NC. Patrons flock in to build community, listen and share with talented artists that grace the stage.

The Poetry Café has also become a staple on several college campuses, whether it be for Freshman Orientation, Homecoming or Student Activities the result is always the same. Students of all different backgrounds, classes, genders and identities blend and unify through music and poetry as they showcase who and why they are.

The event has become so much more than an open mic, its a catalyst for community building, a space to share dreams and ambitions, loves and frustrations. Backed by a live band, a phenomenal host and soulful vocals it is a campus favorite. Students come to the stage with poetry, songs, monologs, dances, raps and more! This event always proves to be a powerful outlet for all involved.
